Transit Directions

Walk from Subway

train to Carroll Street.
Walk west on 1st Place (it will become Summit St). Cross over BQE. Continue down Summit St to Columbia St. Mak a left. Jalopy is two blocks down Columbia St.

Subway and Bus

Option 1: trains to Boro Hall. Walk South on Court St to Atlantic Avenue. On Atlantic Ave, take the B61 towards Ikea/Red Hook. Get off on Summit and Columbia Sts. Continue down Columbia St. two blocks to Jalopy.

Option 2: to Jay St/Metrotech. Catch B61 to Ikea/Red Hook on Smith St. between Fulton & Livingston. Follow above directions.

From Manhattan

Take Brooklyn Bridge. Continue down Adams St. Make a right onto Atlantic Ave. At Columbia St. (4th light) make a left. Continue down Columbia to the end (Woodhull St.) Jalopy is 1/2 block past Woodhull St.

BQE From North and West

Take BQE to Atlantic Avenue Exit. Make left at the light (Columbia St). Continue down Columbia to the end (Woodhull St.) Jalopy is 1/2 block past Woodhull St.

BQE from South and East

Take BQE to Hamilton Avenue Exit. Continue straight off exit. The first right after the traffic light is Columbia St. Jalopy is on the right half way down the block.

Geoff Wiley

Geoff Wiley

Geoff Wiley is the co-founder of the Jalopy Theatre and School of Music. Wiley is a musician, artist, actor and teacher, from Friday Harbor, Washington. He has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington. He currently leads the band Skalopy and also plays in the Brotherhood of the Jug Band Blues. Wiley, with his wife Lynette, and partner Eli Smith, co-founded the Brooklyn Folk Festival. He is the founder of the Mid-Winter Jug Band Rendezvous Festival. He has acted in four plays in New York City, and many in Chicago and Washington. When not running the Jalopy Theatre, Wiley is designing children's toys, musical instruments and chasing his 3-year-old twins.
